Description
This book is the reflection of a world to be preserved, as well as the story of a friendship between nine photographers who have travelled the planet to witness the beauty of the species that live there. It is the passion for photography that brought them together? a passion capable of making them stay still for hours to capture a moment of nature, of which they are all in love, with the main objective of contemplating without disturbing, and sometimes restoring to the public through their photographs the beauty of the nature they observe. The authors of this book are all experienced photographers. Three of them have won the Grand Prix of the prestigious Montier-en-Der Festival (Fabrice Simon in 2001, Patrick Kientz in 2007 and Julien Boulé in 2015). All the others have often seen their photos published in various magazines and journals. Whether in a tent in Katmai, in a boat on the shores of the Arctic Ocean, or in the savannah of the Masai Mara, bonds of friendship have been forged between them, strong enough for this book to emerge from their desire to communicate their passion and their photographs to the general public. The photos presented in this book were taken all over the world and it might not have taken a single photographer a lifetime to present such a diversity of animals and situations. There is a lot of talk these days about the fragility of our magnificent planet? These mammals, these birds, these landscapes are a summary of the beauty of our world. A world to protect. An ANIMAL WORLD
